Will I need to purchase a fishing license before the charter?
- No, a special fishing license is included that covers my customers while with me.
What is provided with the charter?
- All necessary safety equipment. Fishing rods, reels, flies, lures, and or bait. A cooler stocked with ice and beverages. All other gear needed for a fun and successful day of fishing.
How many people can go flats fishing?
- There is room for a max of two adults excluding the captain (two anglers). Exceptions can be made for youth fishermen, (two kids accompanied by one adult).
Where does the boat depart from?
- Sugarloaf Key Marina is my home base, however Key West pickups can be arranged.

Is there parking at Sugarloaf Marina?
- Yes, there is free parking. Also a ship store, and clean restrooms.
What time do the charters start?
- Depending on the time of year, I prefer to get an early start no later than 8am. However I am flexible given certain customer circumstances.
What will I need to bring?
- Bring yourself a lunch, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, and clothing suitable for tropical weather.
Can I bring my favorite fishing rods?
- Absolutely, personal fishing rods are welcome.
